LEARNING LAB

The Surgical and ICU Learning Lab has successfully engaged Surgeons and Intensivists from over 25 NCP-QIC centers. This stakeholder group is critical to the success of Phase II. To that end, NPC-QIC is successfully fostering and developing a partnership with the Congenital Heart Surgeons' Society (CHSS) who promoted our last Learning Session. Our initial focus areas for the Lab has been around standardizing pre-operative briefing and ensuring effective operating room to Intensive Care Unit hand-offs. We have held several webinars and fostered effective sharing and learning of best practice approaches.
