Care Centers & Healthcare Professionals Interested in Joining
NPC-QIC is currently in the process of uniting with the Fontan Outcomes Network to form a new, lifespan-focused network called Single Ventricle Outcomes NEtwork (SV-ONE), set to launch in July 2025.
As a part of SV-ONE, members will contribute to improving patient outcomes through advanced data, innovative research, and collaboration—joining the commitment to reducing mortality rates and enhancing the quality of life for patients by addressing both medical and holistic needs.
Key Benefits
By joining SV-ONE, care centers will become part of a transformative legacy. Our quality improvement projects, ranging from first year of life interventions to optimizing physical activity and liver health, aim to address the complex challenges caused by single ventricle heart disease, including unplanned reinterventions, neurodevelopment, liver health, and promoting physical activity and exercise.
SV-ONE patients have the potential for improved outcomes and reduced mortality through the implementation of techniques and processes shared by our care center teams.
SV-ONE remains committed to satisfying US News and World Report’s criteria for participating in an externally audited, national quality-improvement research network.
Opportunities to connect and collaborate with Pediatric Cardiology experts across the country.
Access to registry data which may be used for clinical and quality improvement research and has resulted in over 46 publications.
SV-ONE teams will receive training in Improvement Science principles and techniques that also apply to many other clinical and business processes.
Physician and nurse attendees at SV-ONE Learning Sessions may be eligible for Continuing Education credits.
SV-ONE activities may align or satisfy your institutional initiatives for quality and patient safety.
The following specialists are eligible for meeting requirements to receive credit towards Maintenance of Certification through participation in SV-ONE activities:
Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (ABP)
General Pediatrics (ABP)
